About the College of Chemical and Life Sciences
With some 3300 students, 125 tenured and tenure-track faculty members, and facilities in more than eight buildings on the College Park campus of the University of Maryland, the College of Chemical and Life Sciences has a lot going on. Our faculty and students are working on a broad array of research topics in the chemical and life sciences, including genomics, ecological sustainability, host-pathogen interactions, nanoscience and biomaterials, and sensory neuroscience.
While the diversity of research and people might sound overwhelming at first glance, we’ve organized some information to orient you to the college and help you access what we’re all about.
