Four Year Plans
Developing Your Four Year Plan

- All students in the College of Chemical and Life Sciences are expected to develop a Four Year Plan to help them complete all degree requirements in a timely fashion.
- "Four Year" Plans may actually be more or less than four years long depending on your transfer credits, summer and winter courses, if you plan on double majoring and other factors.
- If you are pursuing a second major, degree or certificate in addition to your CLFS degree, you should also consult an academic advisor in that area as well.
Getting started:
- Get the curriculum sheet for your major. Familiarize yourself with the requirements.
- View sample Four Year Plans for your major to get an idea of how the courses build upon each other.
- Use the Undegraduate Catalog or Schedule of Classes to double check prerequisities and corequisites.
- Obtain the Four Year Plan template or make your own.
- Utilize these helpful Four Year Plan tips to make a Four Year Plan.
- Update your Four Year Plan each semester or as your plans change.
